Our ancestors left us blueprints—through stories, songs, and acts of resistance—reminding us that liberation is not given; it is built. We honor that legacy by centering generational healing, storytelling, community-building, and economic empowerment as tools for transformation.

The Heart Behind The Freed Black Girl
As a champion for healing, empowerment, and unapologetic self-expression, I created this space to inspire others on their journey to freedom. Through my own personal & professional evolutions— leaving a 20 year career in education and economic justice, a somatic healing journey, and embarking on a new path as a creator and coach— I’ve come to know that true liberation begins within, and radiates outwardly shaping everything we touch.
Right now, Black women across the country are facing an economic crisis. Mass layoffs, DEI rollbacks, and federal government cuts.
At the Unbought & Unbossed Academy, we provide business coaching, custom website design, marketing and branding support, therapists, holistic healing, and a mutual aid fund to help Black women turn uncertainty into economic independence
Every donation directly funds:
✔️Coaching, therapists, healing practitioners, and business development strategic support
✔️ Tangible infrastructure providers (web designers, business finance experts, marketing strategists)
✔️ In-person retreats for healing, strategic planning, and community building
✔️ Platform technology to host the Unbought & Unbossed Academy, and delivery of the program model
